Retractable fall arrester HWB DW FLEXIBLE by Ikar - robust, low-maintenance fall arrest device with dual swivel suspension TA 05, edge-tested Dyneema webbing, and two IKV 11 carabiners. Its durable aluminum housing withstands even the most demanding working conditions and is resistant to seawater. With its internal shock absorption and dual swivel suspension, this fall arrest device provides a reliable component for safe work at height. Designed to enable smooth job transitions in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425.

Operating principle: The device operates on the principle of a seatbelt in a motor vehicle. The length of the webbing automatically adjusts to the required length during work without hindering the user. The automatic length adjustment works at speeds of up to approximately 0.5 meters per second. If this speed is exceeded, the pawls inside the height safety device lock due to centrifugal force. The specially integrated braking system also serves as a shock absorber and limits the forces that can act on the human body to approximately 3-4 kN (depending on the application). This value is significantly below the required value of 6 kN according to the EN standard.
