Carabiner with friction hook FREINO Twistlock by Petzl® - Ideal for use with descenders to increase or control braking friction during descent or lowering.
Simple handling: The rope can be quickly and easily inserted into or removed from the friction hook with one hand.
- The friction hook provides additional friction for heavy loads, allowing better control of descent speed (e.g., during the rescue of two people).
- The rope can be placed into the friction hook without opening the carabiner.
- Automatic TWIST-LOCK locking system allows unlocking with a single hand motion.
- Patented Keylock system prevents the carabiner from snagging during clipping or unclipping.
- Compatible with self-braking descenders like I’D and RIG.
